As a celebrator of all things evil, I played on the Horde side, dropping into Vengeance Landing in the Howling Fjord. While not quite as epic as the beginning of The Burning Crusade, it's certainly an awesome view - while everybody's expected gigantic icecaps, the Fjord is a gigantic, lush series of mountains and waterfalls.
The first few Horde quests were set about taking down the remainders of a scuppered Alliance fleet. This involved travelling into the bellies of a few shipwrecks, stabbing the survivors and retrieving (as ever) barrels to be used in some kind of plague-gas. Following this enjoyable little romp was another bombing-run mission, á la one of my favourite quests from Helfire Penninsula.
