Pioneer Released

Independent developer ThePhorse sent out a press release today announcing the availability of Pioneer, their "shoot-em-up" RPG set in space with a top-down perspective.
Independent games studio ThePhorse have released Pioneer, their latest downloadable PC game.

Gloucestershire, England - February 5, 2009 - Pioneer was proudly released today by independent games studio ThePhorse. Pioneer is a top down, RPG, shoot em up game that takes the player on an engaging journey through unknown space. Players will find themselves conversing with fascinating characters and fighting intense battles to protect the galaxy and to uncover the secrets that it holds.

"I'm both happy and sad to see it finished, " said Andy Yates, designer and programmer of Pioneer, "but ultimately I'm proud to see it in its final state. It's great to see people enjoy it so much!) ThePhorse have been developing Pioneer for over a year - joining the team half way through was head artist Jim Jansen who said, "This seemed like a great opportunity and I'm glad I took it!
