The first is at IGN:
Majesty 2 will be keeping many of the traditional elements that made the first title stand out, like the fantasy setting as well as the RTS and RPG elements. Some of the same heroes and villains from the first game will make a return, although Paradox wasn't willing to mention which ones will be included. Some of the voice actors from the first title will return as well. Similarly, focusing on defending caravans and trade posts will be vital to ensuring that your kingdom runs smoothly. But along with these standards will come some additional improvements. Along with the standard attack and defend flags that you could use to entice heroes to do your bidding, there will be explore and fear flags to expand your control of your warriors.
The second is at Resolution Magazine:
The hero characters can be levelled up, role-playing-style, and each has a unique inventory and set of agendas. A paladin will seek out evil and destroy it, while a rogue will steal gold, and so on. It all takes place in the usual, clichéd fantasy world, but to hell with it, I like clichéd fantasy. Elves, goblins, dwarves. bring it on, I say.
And the third is at GamesOnIce:
Your heroes will gain experience each time they hit an enemy or an enemy structure. From what I've seen, with higher levels come more hit-points. Their attack or defense will be bought from the blacksmith, consisting in 3 levels of weapons and armors for each class.
All buildings are upgradable once or twice, like I said, blacksmiths offers better armor or weapons, guard towers once upgraded will shoot fire arrows, wizards or clerics guild will unlock new spells and so on. Building a wizard or clerics guild will prove most efficient because once the spells are learned, not only your units can use them but so can you.
