First up is Kotaku with no score:
Recommended for those seeking uneasy and weird. And, hey, if you play Fallout 3 and already have your hero eating the flesh of the ghouls he kills, then uneasy and weird is just right.
Oh, and it features Mother Brain. See? Weird.
Then we have Thunderbolt with a score of 8/10:
However, despite my frustrations with the crashes and glitches, I still enjoyed Point Lookout more than any of the DLC so far. The whole map is an awesome place to explore, the new enemies are a real treat and the quests are some of the best yet. If you have a spare 800 points, why not take the trip?
The third is at GameFocus with a score of 8.7/10:
Overall this expansion is not as good as the last one, Fallout 3 Broken Steel, but I have to say it is the most fun one so far and I have high hopes for Mothership Zeta, the fifth expansion, coming in July. There is a ton of small quests and great areas to explore in Point Lookout and it shows why Bethesda is one of the best developers of single player role playing games.
The fourth is at MTV Multiplayer with no score:
Despite a few shortcomings, I had more fun with (Point Lookout) than any of the other DLC packs thus far. It's definitely worth the 10 bucks and should offer at least 6 hours of hillbilly gameplay.
The fifth is at GDN with a score of 8.0/10:
While this experience definitely has a different feel and flavor to it from the rest of Fallout 3, it's still quite fun. A huge environment, lots of content, and some entertaining new weapons all add up to the best DLC pack yet, and one that's easily worth your $10/800 Microsoft Points.
And the sixth is at Neocrisis with a score of 8.8/10:
Overall Point Lookout is a well designed compliment to the Fallout 3 DLC catalogue and is highly recommended as the best content so far.If you do not wish to gamble your game saves getting deleted, step away from Point Lookout and look at the other content.Other than that be sure to pick this up for the most unique Fallout 3 experience so far.Word of warning though: Don't shoot the bubbles.
