Eurogamer Portugal: The artificial intelligence will always be artificial. Do not think for a designer like Peter, this is not a little frustrating, or do you have some way to overcome this?
Peter Molyneux: The issue is that when these touch points, we are talking about philosophical issues. The term Artificial Intelligence. Okay, but if you know a character or personality, do not need intelligence, you need emotional intelligence. Milo will not be super smart, but you have this emotional connection. So we are working on something we call teh EAI (Artificial Emotional Intelligence). We use the technology ot put a smile on the face of Milo, where words and how he reacts to your personality. These subtleties of IA, is what makes it look like a real character. If research in books about the IA, not find anything about this, because the AI is concerned and obsessed on how to transmit and store all the knowledge. This academic in the case of IA. Our obsession is how we use technology to create something emotional. That is why we call EAI.
