This driving force makes for some of the DLC's more intriguing situations and conversations. Playing as a Paragon, I couldn't get Zaeed to calm down and see it from my side. Playing as a Renegade, I just fed his rage and helped him along. Without spoiling anything, I found this difference to be the best part of the mission. There's a crucial choice you have to make in the quest, and it'll lead you to one of the mission's very different endings. When I made the Paragon choice, Zaeed lost his respect for me, and when I made the Renegade choice, I lost respect for myself. When you get to the ending your Paragon choice led you to, you have more possible outcomes. You can argue with the man, and lose his loyalty (he'll still be on your team, though) or put him in his place and get him on the ship.
