Hunted: The Demon's Forge Previews

inXile's upcoming take on the "dungeon romp" genre seems to be drawing quite a bit of interest, as two more Hunted: The Demon's Forge previews have hit the 'net.

GameDaily starts us off:
Although E'lara and Caddoc possess a variety of attacks, each character has different strengths. E'lara is more effective from a distance with her bow, while Caddoc rushes in and smashes enemies to pieces, then assists his partner by pushing large objects. Meanwhile, both heroes have magic attacks that prove useful in combat. Caddoc, for example, can use a levitation spell to propel bad guys into the air, while E'lara shoots them with arrows. Meanwhile, E'lara can use magic to power up her burly partner and vice versa (a featured called the Battle Charge System), transforming his useful blade into a lightning sword. On top of that, both characters collect crystals that they can exchange for skills and spells.

And then Strategy Informer adds a little more info:
Online, co-op is a drop in/drop out affair complemented by a robust matchmaking system that ensures you can play with your favourite character, who remains your character even if you choose to switch at a checkpoint. You needn't worry about another player tinkering with your skill points or ruining your custom abilities and items as they simply won't be able to just as you'll be unable to mess with another character's abilities. Loot and other items are shared between players and remain persistent between your single-player and co-op campaigns, which you can almost seamlessly swap between.
