10 Things We Didn't Know About Fable III

GamesRadar has wrangled up a list of ten design decisions and features that they figure most of us don't know about Lionhead Studios' next Fable installment. For example:
3) Your promises are meaningless

Fable III is split into two halves. The first is a traditional '˜Hero's Journey'. You are wronged, you seek revenge, you beat the evil king of Albion, yadda yadda yadda. The second is your story as a ruler and about what changes you want to impart to the world. In exchange for arms you'll be forced to sign agreements saying you will right Albion's many wrongs once you're in power. Unfortunately, you'll soon discover that it's impossible to fulfil all your promises. Your dungeon awaits those who complain.

10) Your butler is John Cleese

In the absence of Fable's own Gok Wan, Lionhead has included the next best thing. Actually, make that a better thing. Every king and queen has their own butler to advise them on their clothing, their decisions and their actions and, in keeping with Fable's love of top British voice talent, Lionhead Studios has secured the talents of John Cleese for this role. It makes Fable III the first decent game since 2005's Jade Empire (no, Shrek doesn't count) to feature his voice work.
A selection of new artwork litters the article as well, so it's worth your time even if you're not much of a lists person.
