GameSpot has a 45-minute long video feature showing the Square Enix presentation at PAX. It opens up with 15 minutes of Final Fantasy XIV (I think it looks horribly, but I don't really know JRPGs) before turning to Deus Ex: Human Revolution at the 16:10 mark. Lead writer Mary DeMarle and community manager Kyle Stallock explain the concept of the game, as we are shown a cutscene and exploration of the city, displaying the living, breathing world and reactive NPCs. The gameplay then moves on to the dialogue system and discussing different options to get past certain points. Watching the game bug out on stage as the bartender refuses to react as he should is fun (the audience applauds when this happens and they're forced to reload, but Frith knows why). The demonstration then skips to the next, non-friendly part to display hacking and stealth. Finally we move onto combat, all this including the use of augmentations for jumping, landing and becomes a living claymore of sorts. It closes with another cutscene, the demonstration ending at about the 40 minute mark, followed by them going back to show the scene that crashed earlier.
