It would seem Gearbox is very confident in the goofy humor angle for Borderlands, which has become a more integral part of the content that's been released since launch. Some of the claptrap units you'll fight come at you with big red boxing gloves, and across the walls of the valleys are posted mock Obama election campaign and Che Guevara posters, only featuring claptraps. During one particular string of boss fights you'll also find the area to be adorned with signs that promise candies and puppies and explicitly state that there's definitely no boss fight ahead, when of course there is.GamePro.
My take: This may very well be the last DLC pack that Gearbox releases for Borderlands, considering the Game of the Year edition is coming out soon, and the fact that the team is currently hard at work finishing development on Duke Nukem Forever. Luckily for Borderlands fans though, this is quite a large DLC offering to end on, and fans of the series up to now should be pleased with the amount of content Gearbox included in Claptrap's New Robot Revolution.
