Overview

The xvart village is situated just to the west of Nashkel, sheltered between the mountains. Despite being monsters, the xvarts still build homes and they have created a little society. However, it is about time that somebody gives them a lesson. They raid continually the towns and villages of the humans; well, now it is their turn to be raided.


1 - Xvart Village

You'll get attacked by about a dozen xvarts inside this village. Xvarts will also spawn in and around the village all the time, so it's a good idea to get in and out quickly.


2 - Nexlit the Xvart

When you reach this spot, Nexlit the Xvart will get mad at you for exterminating his village (#1), and he'll summon Ursa the Cave Bear to attack you. You'll earn 650 xp when Ursa dies.


3 - Cave

Inside this cave you'll get attacked by a cave bear, but you'll find Bracers of Defense AC 8, a Flail +1, and a Potion of Fire Resistance in a chest.


4 - Borda

When you meet Borda here, he'll try to sell you some magical items for a low, low price, but it's a scam. If you buy anything, then you'll end up with a cursed Potion of Healing, a Cursed Scroll of Petrification, or a Cursed Scroll of Weakness, and Borda will take off with your money.

You can also attack Borda without losing Reputation. He's tougher than he looks, and you'll earn 900 xp for killing him. You'll also find scrolls of Color Spray and Web, a Short Sword +1, the three cursed items, and 74 gp on his corpse.
