Overview

The Waterworks quest line is actually called "The Lost Seekers." It takes place in the Waterworks sewer system located in the southern half of Stormreach Harbor. The quests involve rescuing a pair of boys named Venn and Arlos ar-Kerran, who entered the sewers in search of a "true artifact of power." Guard Tember (#2) is the person who triggers the quests, although other people, such as Guard Agler and Harbormaster Zin, will point you towards him.

The main quest line consists of the four quests shown below:

Chapter 1: The Kobold's Den

Clan Gnashtooth
Rescuing Arlos

Chapter 2: Venn's Trail

Clan Tunnelworm
Venn's Fate

The first two quests take place in Clan Gnashtooth's Lair (#3), and the second two quests take place in Clan Tunnelworm's Lair (#6).

Once you've completed the Waterworks quest line, Guard Tember will offer you a reward from a fixed list of items. To view these items, click here.

Related to the Waterworks quests is the quest "The Harbormaster's Seal," given by Harbormaster Zin in his house in Stormreach Harbor. Zin will tell you that he's closing the harbor because of all of the people who have gone missing in the sewers, and that he'll only allow people with his seal to pass through. To acquire this Sealed Writ of Commendation, you'll need to complete the first two quests in the Waterworks quest line. If you haven't visited the harbormaster by the time you reach Guard Tember, then Tember will trigger "The Harbormaster's Seal" along with the Waterworks quests.
