Main Quest: Destiny Through a Viewing Glass (Part 3)

Walkthrough
For this quest you'll need to show the
Strange Viewing Glass to Saint Gilhelm at Lockston Hall in
Port Kuudad.
Port Kuudad is located far to the northeast of Eastwillow, past Everdale. However, when you reach the main gate to the city (#1), you'll discover that it's not so easy to get in. You'll have a few options for how to manage this:
- You can obtain a
Citizen Writ and show it to the gate guards. The easiest one to get to is located in
Wolfenwood, but you'll have to defeat a few Red Wolves to reach it.
- You can pay a 2000 gp entry fee to the gate guards.
- You can kill the gate guards and pull the lever to open the gate.
- You can sneak into the gate house (either by hiding in shadow or using a
Potion of Invisibility) and pull the lever to open the gate.
- You can enter the city via the
Port Kuudad Sewers (Exit A). To reach the sewer entrance, you'll have to explore the
Farrock Caves (located in the
Central Farrock Range), then exit the caves to the east (in the
Northern Farrock Range), and then travel north to the
Port Kuudad map and enter the sewers on the eastern side.
Regardless, when you eventually reach Saint Gilhelm at Lockston Hall, he'll determine that the
Strange Viewing Glass can be used to locate the entrance to the Crius Vindica guild hall somewhere along the
Forsaken Coast. For learning this information, you'll receive 1000 xp. If you're truthful with Gilhelm when you talk to him, then you'll also receive a
Philosopher's Pendant.
