PC vs. XBOX

I appologize for bumping this old thread, but has anyone verified this occurance on the PC version?

Concerning equipment here are some other recommendations for the early game: (please excuse any incorrect names)

Jaheira: Mace of strength in the Copper Coronet

FMT: Elven Chainmail in Trademeet (in case you can't afford the Robe of Vecna)

FMT: Dakkon's Zerth Blade in the Adventurers mart.

Jaheira's curse quest is easy enough.

Also, the harper quests take a long time, so getting them started early is a good thing.

I would do the D'Arnise keep before the thief or mage stronghold so you can do the multiple stronghold trick.

I agree with Ian Kognitow about doing the Bridge district ...

There are two traps that I was not able to disarm. One is in the basement of the D'Arnise Keep, the other is in the liche's tower in Ust Natha.

100 is not maximum. With 200 in find traps, there are still some that Jan has not been able to disarm. I am not sure what the maximum is, but it is not 100.

I would recommend Anomen or Cernd. As was said, clerical power is lacking with only Jaheira. I wouldn't recommend combining Minsc and Aeira without Keldorn there as Minsc can go berserk if Aeria gets too injured. Keldorn is able to talk him down, so these three in combination is less of a problem ...

Duriong their NPC quests, both Nalia and Jan will leave your party for a while. During this time you could pick up other party members and do their quests. Haer'Dalis, Keldorn, Korgan, and Valygar have quests that can be done immediately upon aquiring ...

Delon

I think that Delon will also appear iof you are a ranger.

Armors for you

All elven chain mail armors let you cast spells while you wear them.

The "Corthala Family Armor", which is found on Valygar, is a better choice, but you may not have the stats to wear it: Strength 6, Dexterity 18, Wisdom, 11.
