It happened a few times, but when you're running XP pro you learn to expect the odd game crash. :D If you have'nt already I'd get the patch as that helps a fair bit. Hopefully service pack 2 should go someway toward making XP more stable and game friendly though that may be wishfull thinking :)

If it was'nt for Yavin I'd say go for the Xbox version simply because your xbox version is less likely to crash which then proceeds to completely wreck your registry, forcing you to fork out 30 quid getting Dell to fix it..........I didn't sound at all bitter then did I? :D

Maybe he has one of the cheat keys enabled. If I remember correctly ctrl+h allows you to chose any of the wild surges from 1 to 100.

Pallantine, Paladin of Helm. See it sort of rolls of the tongue almost, probably due to the close spelling of Pallantine and paladin. Though I think I got the name from a Dragonlance book. Also just played through again as Dar'Kane a chaotic evil Elf mage/thief and I must admit I did like the sound ...

The demon can be killed though it does help if you are a paladin (especially cavalier, bonuses to hit and damage against draconic or demonic) or if you have Keldorn and you or he are wielding Carsomyr. Never heard about the Spider Queen thing though.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game? It may be a corrupt file somewhere, if that does'nt work then maybe your savegame file is corrupted. Other than that I can't think of anything else.

Windows "Blue Screen Of Death"

I had a problem with a game and naturally decided to end it's life through the Task Manager, however several minutes later and being the impatient sod I am, I turned of my computer by its power button. Upon turning it back on i got a blue screen :( saying "registry error" and some other stuff I can ...

I see what you mean and the only probable reason that I got through BG2 so quick was that I used a guide and in parts was much needed. Yeah KotOR did feel more FPS than rpg but hopefully Obsidian have read similiar things and will do what they can to rectify it(or not as the case maybe) so hope for ...
