1) What is the difference between Health Stolen per hit and Health Added Per hit.

2) If you have gloves that say 1 health stolen per hit, I presume that everything you use that hits will give you health per hit.

Am I right, and if I am, do all the magic items that add health only work when using ...

I have seen many a hat or armor with a Defense rating lower whatever I am using because it has an Armor bonus. I then go ahead and buy the item with the higher armor because I thought Armor is resitance to damage while Defense is likelyhood not to be hit.

Am I doing the right thing

Ok. I went to 750w 556s. I didn't find anything either on the world map or in the adventure map. I walked one screen in each direction and found nothing. Any other ideas? I moved up and down the map to and from 700 x 550 and found nothing. Should I give up.

Opalsence, if you are referring to the Temple where the Altar (Morindal?) is, I am starting to believe I might have killed the character in question because I cannot find ANYONE in the temple. WHERE in the temple was the guy? It's only one floor and not alot of chambers.

The skulls

I was told that Magnus may use the skulls as raw material. I cannot remember if it is iron ore or sheet metal, but he will use the skulls if told to build an invention requiring the ingrediant.

Cursed Magic

Are you sure that magic apt doesn't affect cursed items? I just found that blad that does 1-72 damage but slows you down and casts random haste. I gave it to Sogg and the damage icon listed 36-36 damage. In my game he has a slight magic talent.

I like Arcanum so much I bought a copy for my Fiance.

I bought this Arcanum, Game of the Year, from Amazon and from Best Buy. Both copies, when the game disk is inserted say "Wrong Disk"

Telaris is right. Goto the Firearms dealer in Tarant next to the Blacksmith. Every day or two he has the schematic. I think the strategy guide (which I had for 3 days) said there is a 40 or 70% chance of him having the schematic. It takes Saltpeter and either Charcoal or Coal.
