They are very strict here, in my opinion they ruin a part of the experience. But hey its their board so whatever they want to do is their perogative. Post over at terra arcanum if it bothers you too much.

I have never seen a gaurd go through a window, and I usually use a magelock on the front door and kill everybody in the house. I reload after that but it helps me get my aggression out..... and quites the voices for a while.

Elaphant gun does like 20-50 damage i think, i forget the speed. For me it fired 2 or 3 times a round.

48 bullets = 60-70 gold (from saltpeters) a round. lets say that every encounter takes an average of 2 rounds to finish. After a single cave (20 encounters) you would be at 2600 gold spent on just ammo. Ouch...

I play a neutral good fighter/mage/thief with the exp raised to 32,000,000. The three classes are around 13 or 14 and I havn't left for the pirate island in SOA yet. This character will be going all the way through the game solo. Right now he uses the Robe of Vecna(ugliness) and is very versitile.
