is there an item in BG2/ToB that bumps up xp? In Icewind Dale there's the How To Be An Adventurer books. The reason I ask is that I started BG2 with a Ranger as my character but would like to change him to a Thief (Swashbuckler). I've used Shadowkeeper to change him over but in the game he's ...

End Of Game...My Opinion.

I will try Heart Of Fury but I'm going to finish BG2 first! I was disappointed with the way the game ended after all the excitement during it!

Well that's it I've finished the game (for the first time round). Great game, hours and hours, of enjoyable action, but the ending.... I'm going back to BG2 now which I was playing (for the first time) before I was distracted by buying IWD2!

Annoying?

I tell you what annoys me about the characters speech...they sound like Scooby Doo and his gang half the time!

I'm now at level 4 of the Dragon's Eye. I wanted to get the Holy Avenger for my Paladin that's why I went back and fought the Lost Followers.

My sorceress is level 15 but she was quickly killed by the archer and I didn't have a protection from missles spell! My spellcaster always ...

Bloody Hell! I've just got the Holy Avenger from the Glen! I don't know if my tactics stink but I lost 4 of my 6 party menbers and that was on very easy!!!!Luckily Iselore is still hanging around or I'd be doing the rest of the game with a Paladin and a Fighter!

Due to a glitch in the game I had to kill all the Monks & miss the 8 Chambers so I thought I'd go back and kill all Duergars aswell! Got some nice stuff not sure about the xp...but it sure felt good going on a massive killing spree! It's lucky you don ...

Saved Game Offer.

Hello Shadows,

Thanks very much for the offer of saved game, I think I'll take you up on that! My game crashed just after the fight with Cedra at Kuldahar. So if you have a saved game from around this time, or even one from the jungles of Chult I would be very grateful .

No luck with getting my saved game loaded So I've started the whole game again with a new party, it's fun but it's still frustrating to have to begin again!!

Assertion error

Thanks for the help guys. I tried the patch and re-installing the game but I still get the 'assertion error inf.gam line 652' (or something like that) message. So it looks like I'll have to start at the docks again!

Nope, all I've got is the saved game that won't load! I'll try the patch and hopefully that will sort it out...or I'll be back to the docks!

Thanks for the reply. I thought the version I've got is the updated (UK)patched version, I'll check later and try installing the patch! I hope it works or it looks as though I'll have to start the game again, and I really don't want to go through the Ice Temple and Fell Wood again ...

I've just comeback from the Chult Jungle and have fought off Cedra with Iselore's help. I was going back to see Nathanial and Jemsy, saved the game, went back to it later. When I tried to load the game an error mesage popped up and I had to close down the game!!! The message was something like ...

I must say that killing those monks had it's upside...you get some good equipment!

Weird Event At Monestry.

It's a good your party doesn't have a reputation like in BG2 or I'd be the scum of the earth now!

I was at the Monestry and had got to the point where ***** and ***** go off together after my party had shown ****** documents. All was going well until Aruma, Dolon, and a monk stood blocking a doorway in Nonin's area. My characters couldn't get through the doorway and Aruma etc just kept saying ...
