I use the Watchman, because of the defensive ability in the class. And the Force Camouflage. I always envied Juhani for that ability for some reason.

Not to mention the bonuses of the bow itself...I mean, who doesn't love automatic 1d6 fire damage on a bow, and then 1d6 lightning/ice from your arrows?

I was hoping to use the ranger for melee and ranged, because I've found places for both, and it makes for a very versatile character. I would use the AA levels to make up for ranged feats I might take. That, and isn't there an AA-only bow with unlimited ammo? This way, I'd have two animal companion ...

Two things. One, I was wondering if it would be worth it to take like 9 or 10 levels in Arcane Archer with a Ranger for the ranged bonus? Or would you have to go all the way?

Another reason the elf is good for this class is because wizard won't count toward your multiclassing.

I was thinking of ...

This probably sounds kind of dumb...but bear with me here, I've only played once up through maybe a sixteenth of the way through chapter 2...solo. Prestige classes don't count towards your MC penalty?

I've tried a number of different builds in the original game, solo play (haven't quite gotten internet working yet) and my favorite so far is the ranger..just pure, un-mixed, raw, ranger. I played all sorts of DnD campaign's on paper, but on a computer screen, with this engine, it becomes very ...

You can't change stances in KotOR 1...

I really don't know what to say at that. The solo mode is the only thing that really helps...you cold also pull them out of combat manually one by one and engage solo mode, then wait for them (the enemies) to come to you.

Honestly, it all depends on your playing style, and your reason for playing the game, and how you like to play it. Some people choose a path because they like the combat style associated with that path's force powers. Others, for a more role-playing sense, and still others just because they feel ...

If you really really (really really) need the effects, I suppose you could get a new graphics drive. This laptop is literally a piece of salvage (although I've done more with it to send it far past its previous capacity) and can't run anything more than low-quality games. The card is maxed on it ...

It would be impossible to do another installment set in a later time period...you have double, triple, and even quadruple forks going on in some places so much so that most players would have to stop and buy some glue when they get the game just to hold the story together. A great idea would be to ...

That was an interesting point for me; One of the more challenging aspects of the first game was playing the Jolee or "Gray" Jedi. Of course, you missed out on the special robes on the Star Forge, but that was part of the challenge. This game totally ...

The "dual sabers get 4 crystals" line is really contradictory to me. See, the game is based on d20 rules...when dual-wielding, you have a main-hand attack and an off-hand attack. Dual-wielding standard sabers will net you two different rolls (say you have a damage saber and a critical saber). A ...

I didn't know this was succh a big deal. I just cut them down with single ryyk blade, using adhesive grenades and blasters as necessary (I had this one really nice, high-damage blaster), and since Atton was a pretty new jedi, I had him stick to Heal and Push, allowing me to keep one at bay while he ...
