[Post'll contain spoilers!]
I'll try to answer your questions as good as I can:
i) First of all - this is a real spoiler. Right now, there is nothing for you to do there, but latar, in chapter six, there may be something to place in the statue. If you really, really want to now, I'll write it it ...
I know that I roll stats about three times as fast now as I did when I started - It's about to *see* when you roll good stats. You don't have to think "is this good? or this one?" but you see them. That'll lead to more rolls/minute and thus a higher percentage of getting a roll of ...
Problem was that the Fire Giant never gave me the Axe of the Unyielding or the Helm of the Rock..
Well, he shouldn't drop the axe. Find it on the Lum the Mad level. Keep your eyes open for creatures half man, half bull.
Are you being serious? Honestly?
There is ONE single (good) weapon in the game that won't cope with Angur. And the combo would not be close to good. It would be really... useless. And it's impossible for you to have more than two character with 22+ strenght anyway, as the only ...
Hmmm seems like the effect were something like inevitable so i think i won't bother the little movement-speed loss...
I modified the movement speed lvl with SK from 0 to 2 its almost same as the others now, minimal difference...

1) Does anyone know how to play a Wizard Slayer? I never solo so that is out of the question. In case you're wondering I'm playing with a party of 5 people. Minsc, Viconia, Cernd, Jan and Myself, a Wizard Slayer.
Playing a WS is not so diffrent from playing any other fighter ...
Yes, but the question posed wasn't what's the best longsword to use, but simply the best longsword. There is no single, objectively chosen longsword that's better than all the others mentioned. It's a matter of playing style, and class choices. If I had no cleric or Aerie in my party ...

What do you think about giving Viconia +3 WIS  I mean she could very well hang around with party, then get separated blah blah, and we meet again in BG2. :)
I would definitely understand if someone did that, but would never do it myself. As I stated ...

I'd go with Blackrazor. It's very neat and has some devestating abilities. Long story short: it rocks!
As to Daystar: seeing that the sunray ability seems to be the main reason that people likes it, I must point out that the sunray is useable even if the sword's not currently equipped, just as long ...
He means by rerolling. Store the best one you've seen, reroll until you see one that's better.
Yeah, I kinda understood that. My comment was to the "or you're doing it wrong" -part, pointing to the fact that re-rolling is just to click a button several times. How could you ...

Well, it should. Strange.
Which of the characters are wearing BoS? Your Mainchar obviously (or the GMA, see further down) - otherwise you wouldn't notice him getting slow, I mean. Also, you said in ...

As far I'm concerned, the edit-my-game-to-give-me-stats-as-I've-played-through-bg1 is most definitely a cheat. The bonus stats is a benefit you get for struggling all the way through the first game before starting the second one. It's comparable with, say, the golden pantaloos. It's a privilege, not ...

Special: The wearer is immune to everything, magically and otherwise, that affects mobility in any way. This includes haste and slow spells.
Thus Ring of Free Action negates the effect of Boots of Speed and is therefore most likely the root of your problem.

It is called Baldur.ini, definitely. But if your windows settings hides filename endings (it's default in XP) then it'll just be called Baldur - just as Jordoo here said.

Oh, my mistake. I never tried actuall casting, just wearing it and seeing that the spellbutton weren't greyed out (as in bg2).
Sorry about the missinformation.

It should be in your main directory, \Black Isle\Baldur's Gate\. If not, search for it.

Also, if you turn her down the first time she asks you to lie down with her, and asks her if thats what she really want, she'll admit that she feels a bit pressed, and says "just hold me", or something, instead. If you do it this way, the romance will continue as normal, and she'll ask you to sleep ...

Huh? That's strange. I remember that I used a stealthy Montaron whom shot a well-placed ice arrow at the female, and killed her by doing so, in my last playthrough. Then the room was finished.
Note that I did the fire room first, and not last, and was therefore not warped until I cleard out the ice ...
