its really a case of the DM controling the amount available to pcs , if it unbalance's the group your DM should redress the balance as unbalanced groups are not much fun for those pcs who are under powerd.

ive been a dm for years on and of but my recent campaign has been running for about 4 years and the pcs are all getting quite powerful now , i think the real trick to good dm ing is to allow the players to decide the route they take thru your world and when you have a goal in mind let the players ...

A new setting ahh the best thing any gm can do , ive been running my own setting for about 6 years now and have a solid following , when i first set out i just invented one small village and a mountain and just let the players fill the gaps then i just built the world from there now i have 3 ...

i have played in one on one games and dm them its cool if you are both comfortable with each other and you are both good at getting into charector also i found you have to be careful because without a group you have no backup in tricky situations, but i have to say you can get alot of gaming into ...

its a pity the druid in my players group does,nt post in this forum as he knows every trick and power play there is to the point where i dont even bother argueing any more , :laugh:

thanx people for your sugestions , in the end i got round the problem by describing the item as a pile of old rope with forest mold on it ,this did the job because the sorcerer in question is very vain and would never volutarily pick up a moldy old piece of rope .

in the campaign im curently running i have taken all the spells away from the druid in my group as a part of the story line they will be returned at a later date ,but as the druid is a lot less powerful now i want to put a magic item in to give him a little bit power , problem is there is only one ...

hi guys ive just started playing star wars d20 and im playing a scout lvl6
just wondering if anyone has any advice on charector development as its my first star wars?

some combos are so much hard work that you will end up frustrated when other players advance quicker than you do , unless all the players in your group multi class , IMHO multiclassing is cool but takes patience and dedication .
i dont think druid/cleric is a good idea , when you multiclass i think ...

watching as the group moves on sourav follows from distance seeing the body and the gaurds escourting them away , sourav sneaks into the camp and sends his hawk to keep tabs on kradt & argantes.

as soon as the riot starts sourav trys to slip away , but still interested he decided's to follow at a safe distance as he reachs the edge of town sourav does a bird whistle and his small sparrow hawk friend arrives promtly "go and find a dwarf and a dark figure i will catch you up".

sourav looks thoughtful "if the merchant has offerd us 50 coin each we wont be able to buy it back , ok lets get the peddler and take him to the merchant"

sourav turns round his head thumping as Krahdt stomps up to him " yes the ale in this region is more powerful than im used to , anyway i will help you find the lost ring what is your plan ?"

sourav sudenly wakes and finds a coin on the table wondering where it came from and where Krahdt has gone , so he walks over to the bartender and asks "what happend, your ale is pretty strong "

1, how often would i need to post i could post about 5 days a week

3, personally i prefer more story with the occasional explosion of violence
