Thank God someone else wrote that before I did. I agree with Hawksfire completely. It's not the real "Caine". Read the load screens...they even mention that in recent nights there have been a rash of "Caine" spottings that are dubious. Even the P&P game had sub-plots with minor vampires going around ...

There were no "rings" or "enchanted items" in Bloodlines because they don't fit in with the source material. If you have played the Pen & Paper game you know that such things don't exisit, or at least not in any such way that you character would ever get possesion of them. The point of the game is ...

Console Problem
I have been trying to add the "-console" command to the target line in order to use the console cheats but I have not been able to get it to work.
I right click on the desktop short cut. Add -console to the end of the target box line "C:\Program Files\Activision\Vampire - Bloodlines\vampire.exe ...

I agree somewhat, but a purly ranged charcter still takes damage from a ranged enemy, and then also suffers from melee enemies. Ranged is not a really viable tool. Its stated through out the game that bullets do little to a vampire, but blades are deadly. sure, some people have beaten the game or ...

Bloodsuckers was good for normal thugs and what not, but against sabbat vamps and bosses it did good damage sure, but with little or no blood return it wwasn't a good investment for me. Pestilence was hit or miss most of the time.
As for the ranged needing only "Ranged weapons" as Atheocrat claims ...

I almost never sneaked throughout the game (my nos was an exception because Obfuscate 5 works wonderfully). I never put more than 2 dots in ranged and put everything in either Melee or Brawl and Strength, Stamina and Dodge. I found that even with a 10 in ranged you still shot like crap and did less ...

The boat is a static scenery item, like the peir itself. When you first ran through the harbor area and fought the hunters, did you see the boat? Its a little zodiac lookin' thing, much like the one from the Dane mission. Make sure you back track all the way back to that area. I've played through 7 ...

Can't say I've had that particular bug, but I've had similar crashes. Have you tried to quick save just prior to speaking with her/them? Then reload from your quicksave after the game crashes. That has worked for me at points where it crashes. On that note...any work if the next patch is going to ...
