I would say the most logical answer is the roenalls. It is the only thing that makes sense. The roenalls need lord d'arnise dead to take control of the keep. Mencar Pebblecrusher is no joke. He beat me to a pulp several times the first time I played through SoA. I got smart though - laid some traps with yoshimo, cast a fireball and a cloudkill (with wand). Great feeling .

I know the thinking in SoA was dual the ranger at lvl 9 and get the cleric to whatever level (17?). In ToB however it would seem wiser to use the half-elf cleric/ranger. What is better, Multi or Dual?

I usually do Windspear when im around level 10-11. Im playing through with a stalker right now and did guarded compound at 10 with 4 people. I don't find that fight difficult.

uh are you joking me? Dragons breath is way more powerful than any attack like it in the game. It doesnt affect your party members, it knocks back enemies and does 20d10 dmg. NOT the same thing.

Yes because shadow dragon armor is considered magical so you cant waer ring of prot +2 yata yata. But you can wear ring of gaxx. I now forget about leather armor but I Think there is some studded leather armor of thorns +6 which isnt bad. I dont remember the AC though.

I would assume true netural since hes a harper but you meet elminster.. you dont fight him.
