Have ya' tried the back door? As I recall, there are guards posted arund the perimeter of the mansion, and I think one of them guards a door. There are tins scattered all about the yard, presumably used to distract and decoy guards away.

Brujah, Gangrel, Nosferatu, and even Malkavian can probably be explained away as Anarch sensibilities. The Toreador or Ventrue sires probably were putzes who thought they could get away with it.

But I'm still trying to wrap my head around how, in the in-game story logic, a character's Tremere sire ...

The Jamie Sue rifle (Remington) and the Steyr AUG are the scoped weapons of the game. Pressing TAB will access the telescopic sight.

In the Killmatic, SPAS shotgun, and the 44. Magnum— pressing TAB adjusts between single shot and cyclic.

[QUOTE=EnigmaMachine]This may seem like a stupid question to all the old Vampire hands out there, but is the Embrace a voluntary act on the part of the "victim"? From my limited exposure to vampire literature, I'm assuming that the recipient drinks the blood of a vampire (once, or three times ...

Getting the fetish by way of console may not work— I think the quest is scripted so Pisha won't recognize reciept of the fetish if you dropped by to give it to her.

She does say something like "I fear the fetish is lost forever along with the theft of the sarc..." when you receive this quest that ...

You can return to the Elysium of the Warrens through the same mausoloem where you found the tape in Ginger Swans' crypt. In the chamber across from it, where you'll find some bones lying on the floor, is the secret door that accesses the Warrens.

I don't think you can ever get to the safe that the ...

With the correct argument in the Hellfire command .ini file, you can unlock the Bard (modeled on the Rogue, with an Identify skill and two-handed melee ability) and the Barbarian (modeled on the Warrior, with subtle hidden features enhancing his melee combat style).

So, there actually six possible ...

The first time I played the game, it was un-patched at v1.0 and the timing didn't matter a whit because my character (male Tremere) could swim against the current. It just took three seconds short of forever to get anywhere, but nonetheless he was able to move forward against the full force of the ...

I was of the mind that the First Generation of vampire was— Caine.

Anyone who is third generation *anything* is two generations removed from the first one. Move up two rungs, and you're on the same floor with the first guy.

It depends on whether or not you see Caine as the creator of all Cainite ...

Caine is the First Genration. He is what God hath wrought when Caine was cursed for the murder of Abel.

Caine sired three vampires below him, who were the Second Generation.

These three in turn embraced thirteen vampires, the Third Generation.

The thirteen grandchilder of Caine, the Third ...

I believe the walkthrough was written before the patch. That bit of cheese was probably fixed in 1.2, so if you tell Abrams who made the gargoyle, you'll lose access to the Chantry, even if your get Strauss' reward first.

This is an opinion of mine, but perhaps your difficulty in dealing with the Changs isn't due to your attention to your magical capabilities, but your choice in physical attacks.
