It's really easy. Just drop a little something at each button then check the orb thingie. When you look through the orb doohickie, you'll see a button and whatever item you dropped there. :)

As the Canuck(Aegis) already said, only Wizards and Sorcerers can get familiars. And they don't need a quest to do so.

Bards are not Wizards. They are a completely seperate class, just as Sorcerers are not Wizards.

You won't be able to use wizard labs, that much is true. But with a high enough persuade, which rogues get as a class skill, you can talk them into giving you almost any kind of quest. I'd go rogue, if I was you.

That's debatable.

On the one hand, Death Attack (assassin) and Sneak Attack stacks for some pretty nice damage.

On the other hand, the bard's spells can be quite helpful. Not to mention, they have more HP.

I guess it depends on how you plan to play your character. If you want more a melee ...

Call me crazy, but I don't think you get any XP penalties when you multi into a Prestige Class... At least, I never noticed any.

That is what you mean, right? XP penalties?

In Pen and Paper, you would be able to do it. However, in NWN you can't. It's not really a bug, just Bioware messin' up once again.

Thanks for the replies, guys. I think, if I ever upgrade my POS computer, I'll go out and get myself a copy of Morrowind. :)

Daggerfall VS Morrowind

Since I haven't tried Morrowind out yet, I was wondering how good it is. Mainly, I want to know how similar it is to the age old classic Daggerfall.

Is it just as immense?

Is there still an endless amount of quests?

Can you still make your own class?

The skill/level system stuff is still the ...

I think I may know what's causing your problem. What's your wisdom score? You need a wisdom score of 11 to cast lvl 1 spells, a wis score of 12 to cast lvl 2, and so on.

Another possiblity is that you're mistaken and you're actually trying to memorize your Ranger spells instead of your Druid spells.

You don't actually use the Grimoire on the altar like you might think you would. "Use" the altar again and it'll give you several options of how to use the Grimoire.

Spoilers! Yippee!

Ok, here's what you do. Drop a little item in front of every pillar. Then, look into the crystal ball. Then, push the button the crystal ball reveals to you. This is why you need to drop crap in front of the buttons. Otherwise, you wouldn't be able to identify 'em from one ...

Well... Do you have SoU?

If you do, my advice is to forget about the Ranger lvls and make a Rogue/Assassin/Shadowdancer.

If you don't, a Rogue lvl X/ Ranger lvl 1 is usually enough. Try to take archer feats(ie. Point Blank Shot) and hide behind a tank henchman. If you're close enough, and your ...

The only way you could manage this create a module and make NPCs identical to your characters. Set them to different factions and watch the blood splatter.

Errmm... I may be wrong about the evil cleric turning thingie. I just ran through the Beggar's Nest with a lvl 20 cleric. Totally massacred the zombie lords. So, I'm not quite sure what's going on there. I know for a fact I saw Seth control an undead once. And I'm fairly positive we never added any ...

Well, that's news to me, as I've never been able to control the undead in NWN, and I've had my share of clerics, good and evil.

Saw Seth do it on AO, once. ;)

do you think i could edit my banger?

I recommend 1 cool store . It's got fully equiped merchants and a leveler. And there's a friendly little hill giant that'll jump you to whatever chapter you want.

It's been a while since I was at this spot, but isn't there several statues or something in that room? If there is, they tell you the possible combinations.
