To the guy with the all-fighter party:

Have you fought any dragons yet? Or any liches? I'm just curious, because I thought of doing the same thing, only I was worried there would be some opponents who would be difficult to beat. BTW, who do you get rid of in ToB to get ToB guy? I would say Minsc.

Yeah, this Marvel guy is in the game to take back all of Drizzt's stuff if you killed him during the encounter. The fact that he never approached you is an interesting bug though - its not supposed to happen. I also would suggest reading the Drizzt's encounter string below.

The reality is, Frodo doesn't really fit well into any AD&D category. If I had to pick one, it would be a bard, because he was apparently quite adept at singing. After bard, I would say fighter, although I don't think he actually kille anything the entire book(s). And I think Bilbo was maybe lawful ...

You can keep the stuff - at least some of it. Say, for example, you like his swords. Put his swords somewhere, like on a table in your stronghold. Then, go about your business, kill Bodhi and encounter the mage. The mage will demand Drizzt's stuff, and you can give it to him (the armor and the ...

Somebody in this dialogue mentioned Frodo as an example of a lawful good theif. Frodo is not a theif. Just because he happens to be a halfling (hobbit) it doesn't mean he is a theif. I don't even think there is an accurate class for Frodo. Sorry to be so picky; I am a LOTR freak.

Romance - Jaheira

I am looking to start a romance with Jaheira that I can carry into ToB. A few questions:
1. Aerie is hitting on me. How long can I play along with her and still get dialogue with Jaheira
2. Should I try to "complete" the romance before Spellhold/Underdark? I want to go there as soon as I get $15,000 ...

Ranger/Cleric dual class

At what level should I dual the ranger to a cleric? Also, why is this class so powerful (why is it better than a figher/cleric)? I apologize if this has been covered before.

Ned,

I know exactly what you are talking about, and as far as I know there are no goodies in the statue's eye. At least, I have never been able to get anything. A shame about Maude - you have my sympathy

Watchers Keep Question (slight spoiler)

I am on the teleportation level of the Watcher's Keep, and I can't get to the lower levels. I have reached the point where I play the card game with the Cambion, but I can't get anywhere after that. I killed him once, and I played the game all the way through the second time, but I can't get through ...

After Yoshimo places the stew, go back in the room (after the umber hulks have vacated) and close all the doors. You won't ever have to look at those things again (at least not in that dungeon). You get more XPs this way than if you fight and kill them.

NPCs in ToB

If you import a character from BG2 into ToB, what happens to the NPCs from the BG2 party? Are they automatically in your party. Also, if I killed off Valygar in BG2, can I use him in ToB? WHat level are the NPCs. Sorry for all the questions.

I disagree about blades. Their THACO is too bad, and they can only wear chain mail. Their hit points are low as well. I personally like barbarians.

NPCs in ToB?

When you import a character from BG2 to ToB, will you import the entire party or just the main character? If you import the entire party, will they have all their equipment and spells? Will characters you disposed of earlier in the game (say, for example, I kicked Keldorn out of my party at 12th ...

The barbarian's rage is probably a little better than the berzerkers because they don't lose hitpoints and don't get fatigued at the end. But you are right, not being able to go past specialization in weapons sucks. I used a barb in a 6-person party, and I loved him. But the berzerker is better for ...

Slight disagreement on the power of your party. Korgan is much better than either Minsc or Keldorn and Anomen (if he passes the test) is better than Viconia. She is really not that much better at spellcasting and her fighting skills are weak. I am also partial to Valygar over Minsc and Keldorn.

Monk or Swashbuckler?

I'm starting a new game, and am trying to pick a new class. I have completed the game with both a Sorc and a Barbarian. What class should I try? I want something fun, but powerful enough to import into ToB. Any thoughts?
