Strange. I found the game much easier with a wizard than with my earlier game with a rogue/duelist/ranger. Had to reload only a couple of times. The buffs really worked (stoneskin, greater stoneskin, premonition, shades, etc.), and firebrand/chain lightning, etc. wiped out masses pretty quickly ...

It's a shame that you can't use the swashbuckler kit for that... I've never tried, but I reckon that you cannot Dual-Class to kits? Fighter dualing to swashbuckler would be very nice.

Most certainly we're not gonna give him the keys to our practice place at this point. At least 2-4 months is needed to check the guy, that he really doesn't use any hard drugs. Who knows what kind of "friends" he might bring to the place to have a "party" for instance.

We already have problem with ...

Allright, we decided with the guys that we're gonna talk about this matter with the person at our next rehearsal at tuesday. Just to be sure that he's fully clean from hard drugs and wants to be so at the future. We don't care about anybody's past that much, but we cannot afford to get our gear ...

It doesn't matter. Because considering the gear and space issues everything should have been told in the first second.

Dealing with dishonest ex-druggie

Speed and heroin one. Not light stuff.

Another chance or immediate dispatch?

Obviously he's clean now, but he hasn't told us anything about the former problem. This is a band rehearsal place issue. I've posted this thing to several boards to get wide opinion. We use booze and hash heavily too ...

I just opted for thicker strings for lower tunings when I needed to (instead of 7 strings with guitar or 5 with bass)... I still could play chords and all things were much more simpler. I had a 70-14 set in my normal guitar and 125-60 set with my 4 stringed bass. That was when we used flat C tuning ...

There is no such thing as "best guitar". Which is good depends on what you play. Gibson SG (I only have Epiphone copy) is the probably the best choice for the music I play (vintage metal), but it's probably not really that good for shredding. I also constantly switch between D and dropped C tunings ...

Just passed the game with 17/10 Rogue/Ranger. Mephi was tough, but not even near of impossible. Valen betrayed me at the end, couple of rounds to beat him down first. Mephi was keen of hitting Deekin, had to use potions of heal to keep deekin alive. I had Time Stop and Mestil's Acid Sheat scrolls ...

To me Mephi was really easy opponent last time around. I had 10/16/2 RDD/Champion of Torm/bard as character. Didn't have to use a single potion of Heal even with the highest difficulty level. Enserric just sucked me more hitpoints from mephi and those elementals, I also had regeneration +8 through ...

Helsinki is not a really big city, but I voted urban. I live 4km's from downtown. It's actually really nice to have all the basic needs within 100-200m radius. Over 20 bus and 3 tramlines go past street, 1km walk to work or to nearest trainstation, etc....

Red Dragon Disciple (10 levels) with only one level of bard and the rest invested to some sort of fighter type class gives a wonderful melee type character.

This two levels lower thing is really balancing I think. Maybe even too much. At lower levers and with fighter type characters, a Drow is always going to be worse character statistically than a human one. But maybe a price has to paid if someone wants to play with a Drow, it's probably more fun ...

I didn't say it was Bush's fault alltogether. Well he has a big part in it. I was just asking will he acknowlege the problem (the climate change), or continue to deny it?

So it was dodging. Of course, the brooding, unusually hot weather on the caribbean rised the storm. Do you believe otherwise? What are your opinions, solutions?

Will Bush and the Neocons?

Will Bush and the Neocons in washington finally acknowlege the climate change after the hurricane Katrina?

I say never. Allthough it is an imperative issue for the future of mankind the current US administration will never grasp this issue.

When The US has all of the control over middle-eastern oil and when US and China have depleted all of their own oil reserves. It's not that far away.
It's going to be a Chinese land invasion to middle-east first, responded by US nuclear action over protection of *their* oil.
