This happened to me, too, and it's really a pain. :mad:

To the best of my knowledge, there's no fix for it. The only way around it that I know of is to try and hit pause at just the right time. If you manage to get the timing down right, you can regain control.

In all honesty, I've found that both work well. A party with lots of magic power can kick butt as can a group of tanks. However, the best thing usually proves to be balance between the two. After all, that's what most people's parties have, no?

It has amused me quite a bit, though, the concept of Viconia being True Neutral, a Priestess of Shar, and holding a Talos symbol. Oh no, I've gone crosseyed ...

I did some experimenting, and she only gives the sappy "ssinsrigg" comment if she's been changed to true neutral. Just in case anyone cared.

I've been going through the Viconia romance in ToB with my evil half-elf cleric. It's been going fine, but I haven't had a dialogue in a while. If memory serves correctly (and who knows if it will :D ...

If you download the infinity explorer, you can extract the portraits using it. However, the portraits will only be small ones. The large portraits for those characters aren't in there.

I do remember seeing, when I was looking through the config program, that on normal difficulty monsters only do 3/4 damage.

Now, whether it was like that before the expansion or not ... I don't remember.

And there's one more thing that I'm hoping someone might know... :)

I have tried and tried to find some method to how the dialogues between party members pop up. As far as I've been able to tell, it seems totally random. But if there really is some rhyme or reason to when my amusing little party ...
