Wow, I never had this bug either. But I'd say re-load, and if that doesn't work to a complete uninstall/re-install.

I had this problem too... I just violently and rapidly hit the action key until I heard the noise indication that I'd picked something up... It always works for me.

That's really weird. Never happened to me before. Once I thought it did, but then I remembered I sold it... Anyway, I wish there was some way I could help, but my best advice would be to patch up (even though patches are sometimes more trouble than they're worth).

This is off topic... but why do I seem to be the only one who did not have a problem with that door? If anyone else DIDN'T please tell me so I can stop feeling so lonely.

My computer, control panel, appearance and themes, change the screen resolution. Ta-dah. There ya go!

Wow, that's weird... the only time I've ever experienced anything even similar is when the game automatically ran "no-clip" on me, and I ran down a flight of stairs... I ended up under them... anyhow, I don't know if you're having the same problem or not... It might be that specific thug that ...
