Cleric spell tactics

Need some info/advice. This is my first time through as a spell caster and I was wondering if there are any interesting/useful spell tactics for clerics.

I haven't had any trouble with fighters or rogues in the OC but I'm finding I'm having some trouble with enemy spell casters. Not sure why.

So ...

re.

"and will I really need a +3 or higher to actually hit some enemies in Chapter 3 and onward?"

Yep. Although I've consistently found Klauth to be the most difficult opponent in the game, its the Balors in chapters 3 & 4 that require the +3 weapons to beat the damage resistance they appear to ...

re. (slight spoiler?)

Its been a while since I completed the game with a Nosferatu but as far as I can recall I the only mission I skipped on was hooking up Romero with a lady friend in Hollywood apart from that I was able to do all of the missions I could do with the other clans and Betram ...

re.

I wouldn't say the tremere were over powered really. I admit that when I played as one I found the game easier but I think that's because of the targetting system the game has for active disciplines means its impossible to miss with a 'blood boil' or 'suicide'.

The blood magic is the thing ...

re.

Try using only passive disciplines only.

I never realised how much I relied on the 'trance' and 'suicide' style disciplines to get me through some missions until I tried Toreador. I know there's an argument that having access to celerity makes the game easier, but I only find the benefits ...

Soul traps?

I'm not entirely sure this is the right forum for this discussion but Elder Scrolls are the only games I've encountered soul traps and I've really only played Oblivion (just haven't had the time to devote to Morrowind - since it involves more thinking than Oblivion).

Anyway - I usually don't role ...

Well, I have power gaming tendencies and since only gaining levels in major skills improves your overall level, it struck me that it may be possible to become a master in blade, if your major was hand to hand say, without affecting your level. Similarly in armour, if you favoured using light ...

Just curious...

Just curious about the enemy levelling system in Oblivion, since the enemies and battles are levelled to provide a challenge to a character regardless of how high a level they are (in theory), and its possible to select major skills that you do not use at all during a game, is it possible therefore ...

Help/advice re. "The Purification" (spoilers)

I'm after any help or advice you can offer me on the dark brotherhood mission "The Purification". (I'm playing on the PC version.) I've managed to eliminate 6 out of the 7 family members and only Vincent Valteri (sp?) remains. I've used rufio's ghost (it only seemed to serve as a distraction to the ...

Fire Opal (spoiler?)

Just curious, I'm on my second time through the game and have encountered the same curiosity at the same point in the game and was wondering if any one could shed any light on it for me.

In level 2 of the creator race ruins is a box with the passcode for the second seal golem, also in the box is a ...

Giovanni mansion *spoilers*(?)

I'm playing through as a nosferatu and was wondering where the 'secret entrance' is to the giovanni mansion, its existence is mentioned in the walkthrough but not its location. Any one have any ideas? I've been all the way around the perimeter of the mansion, there is a back door but its guarded by ...

Tal'mahe'Ra Blade - spoiler?

Is there any advantage to using the Tal'mahe'Ra Blade? Its stats appear to be no different to a standard katana. The only plus point seems to be selling it, if you already own a katana or saving the cost of purchasing a katana afterwards. Can someone enlighten me?
