Those who use Mazzy tend to use her as an archer, allthough with short sword of mask she`d be pretty good in melee (she`d be one of the best, but it just wouldn`t look good...). However, she`s SOOOOO anoying, and her voice is SOOOOO irritating...

I`d go with Haer`dalis, his traps are awsome...and don`t worry about attacks/round or anything, I just have him singing impr.bard song all the time, and it makes a big difference.

As I´ve said many times before, making two characters fight in PvP doesn`t demonstrate who`s better...or the archer, for instance, would be crap...but is he eh?

Plus, a mage in PvP can be beaten without contingencies, but if the mage can prepare contingencies, shouldn`t a thief be able to set a few ...

U can`t compare characters by making them fight one another...a barbarian is the best tank, agreed, but in a fight with a Monk, the monk`s MR (for instance) won`t be relevant, but what about when u fight mages?
In 1 on 1 combat the archer, for instance, would nearly always loose. Is he crap then? NO ...

There are just too many enemies with MR and high saves, and enemies just swarm. That means u have to use most of your spells in 1 or 2 battles. In BG1 or D&D mages are better since there are fewer enemies, less powerfull/frequent magical weapons and most monsters actually fail their saves!

The quest spell is Deva, and Planetar for mage, Solar is who greets you in your poket plane and seems, by far, more powerfull than the former two...

How could you summon a solar? For any D&D guys out there, what is exactly a solar?

Most single (and therefore dual) classes don`t advance much in ToB (especially fighters, that stop gaining thaco at level 21), so your multi will, in the end, be far better than dual. In SoA fighter/mages and ranger/clerics have less thaco from low fighter level, but they get stoneskin/ironskin ...

Dunno...tried dispel magic?

My party consists of me (monk, probably the closest thing to a god-spawn you`ll find, very powerfull with very little equipment...), minsk, the "not-so-evil" Viconia, Sarevok "same", Haer'Dalis (very powerfull at high levels) and Imoen (shadowkeeped to a mage avatar, she`s an archmage for god`s sake ...

I allready had your romance starter patch installed (Viconia, and thanks by the way), but haven`t had any dialogues yet...haven`t done very much, so I`m not that worried...
Any way to start it with ShadowKeeper per chance?

Is there a patch out there to solve the Viconia romance with elf problem?...

Two things. You`ll have to suck up all the trap effects and you`ll have a pretty hard time opening locks untill u get Crom...

Could someone tell me how to get these...? I know it`s the guy in the red suit quest, but how do i get the randsom?

Yeah, I get that too, but what I heared was that even if it said 4 attaks/round, it only shot at 2.5 attaks/round, or something like that...wanderin if it was true.

OK. And what about the 2.5 attacks bug? Is there a fix for that?

I`ve been wanting to start a game with Archer in ToB, in fact I did, but the damage he dealt didn`t seem right...I seemed to be doing quite a few 10s (tried on kobolds)
Grand Mastery- +3
Level 16- +5
Arrows +2- +2
Arrow dmg (1-6) 1
That`s a minimum of 11...
Also I`ve heared of a 2.5 nº of attacks ...

By the way, Haer'Dalis can also set high level traps and use any item...as well as improved bard song and mage spells, just give him a range weapon and you`ve got yourself a hell of a backup!
