Shield

Sorry, I'd been talking of the wastelands where both shields are rather useless. Armory, strength, dexterity and the resis are decisive when making it to the dungeon.

Strength and Dexterity

Forget about Intelligence (only for the mage/wizard) I got up strength and dexterity both equally. So my char (warrior) reached 150 strength and 150 dexterity, 100 vitality at the end. Conc. attributes and skills - besides the specific char skills like mastery of sword etc ...

Killing Orcs and all that stuff

Don't try to fulfill every single quest at the beginning of your carreer. Ravager is right, corresp. to your level kill the orcs, wasps, bees and all that stuff first to reach a higher level.And don't forget to save every 5 minutes.

For Rob's second quest you'll have to pick up the ale in the storage room. In Rob's room you'll find a book with a strange dagger inside, one of the holy weapons. I don't remember having any problems to open the room.

There ain't no passive spells they're all active and need activation. What you're talking about are passive skills, they're working all time in the background. BTW you don't have to fulfill every single quest. There's one main quest to become divine.The other quests are made to level up and get some ...

Just one step from the Sword of Lies I just don't succeed in killing Iosephina. It doesn't work with freeze (skill 5) in combination with life leech. Yep, I did - clicking on the wrong person. But I finally made it and got a fantastic holy sword. Thx for the advice. Now, before making it to the wastelands I've got the best armory and weapon you can get - a combination of larian armor, holy sword and dragon stuff.
