I'm needing a grand total of TEN empty grand soul gems. This is for a Daedric quest.

I'm at Level 34 and have exhausted the supplies of the Mages Guild and the Arcane University. (I'm the ArchMage, BTW.)

I've also gone to several vendors who sell them....and their supplies ...

I have found Boethia's Shrine and have completed the Tournament of Ten Bloods.

Now....BIG SPOILER....

I have returned to the land of Tamriel and am told to approach the shrine and receive my reward.

However, the shrine is now non-approachable. When I do go up to it, there is no prompt to speak to ...

Why wouldn't I want to get back there?

Is it possible to get a key from someone else? I'm wondering if the key is something that can be acquired from another party? From what little I've read so far, it seems that this item may be that kind of object.

I suppose I could. In fact, I've actually collected more than the four that are displayed in his trophy case.

Well, I probably jumped the gun on the Collector's Quest and went with Umbacano before I got all the statues.

So, now his trophy case only has 4 instead of 10 and I can't get into the Royal Tomb of Lindai.

I realize that this thread is somewhat old, but, I've stumbled upon the Lindai ruin AFTER the episode with Umbacano and the transformation into the evil Ayleid.

Now, I've reached the 'an irregular shaped' door that needs a key and don't have anything on me to open it.

Is it possible to find it at ...

The first time through this I had some trouble finding all five, too. I looked, and looked, and LOOKED around on that top area and it WAS NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. Period!

So, I started again from the saved game I had prior to entering the area. The first time in, I fought that Storm A with cast spells ...

I actually read from someone that there is a sunken ship out from Anvil. But, I have yet to find it myself.

I HAVE, however, found some wrecked ships at various locations along the coast.

Keep in mind: You're Dark Brotherhood. You don't question the assignments.

Contrary to the post stating that the patch fixes this, I just now...after installing the latest official patch...have reached this same problem.

There are only some skeletons, a couple of zombie corpses and a troll in this area. I have to kill the troll, but, I've moved all the skeletons around ...

Once I create a character I tend to stick with that character throughout.

For Oblivion, I'm still working on my Dark Elf, Battlemage, under Sign: Ritual.

I've made it to Level 33 and am having a blast!

In Morrowind, I actually did create different characters but only after having computer ...

Disregard this one. I discovered that I'd already obtained the items and was storing them in one of my houses.

I'm finally getting on with the Fighters Guild quests. I have a contract to retrieve a grandfather's sword and cuirass from the family tomb.

I've gone there, battled off all the opposition and arrived at a sarcophagus with the map's green indicator showing that I'm standing right over the item ...

Are you wearing anything that's stolen? Or, anything that can be seen as being stolen?

Try this: Inside the city gates, drop any and everything that shows up as stolen in your entire inventory. Save your game, and then go through the gates. See if you get arrested again.

The Silver Tooth Cave gave me plenty of fight with -- what I thought must have been -- 50 Goblins! (I'm sure that's a high estimate, though. )

But, the place is HUGE and there definitely were plenty of goblins.

BTW, it's located NE of Imperial City.

That's what I thought, too. That's why I put 'she' in the original post.
