@kesi28: Yeah, I agree cross-classes can be totally awesome. When you play this one I hope you will enjoy it, because it sure is effective.

I think that point and click would be the best and most recognized option. I'm not too worried though as Blizzard has never let us down (Diablo, Warcraft, Starcraft). Either way, point and click or 3D, I'm sure DIII is going to be a great installment to the Diablo franchise.

The Scoundrel is pretty much the best class to start out. My reason has to do with one of my char builds, which you can (and should) check out below.

Scoudrel/Consular Mini-Char Build

~Scoundrel/Jedi Consular~

This build requires a bit of planning out, but is very easy to play once you get the hang of it. The char is usually stronger than most Soldiers. Now you might tell me that Scoundrel's use blasters, and that melee is (In most cases) a million times better. You would be ...

@epitaph: The reason I think that you were so turned of by the original Diablo, was because you were expecting it to be more like DII. I also played the sequel before I played Diablo, but when I played it, I loved it! It just depends on your personal opinion.

@Obi-Wan-Evan: If you have the patience ...

I agree with you. I remember how fun DII was when I was first getting the hang of it. It's still fun to play now, but it was the best when I was first learning about everything.

I am actually having the same exact problem, which is very annoying because I'm pretty excited to give this game a try. I tried everything I can think of to overcome this problem but have failed. So any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

P.S. Sorry to have brought back such an old thread.

Most of the time I use Light Armor because of Cuirass of the Saviors Hide, which adds like 60% magic resistance. I then use Boots of Blinding Speed in addition. If I don't think I will use armor till late in the game I go unarmored, and train my Light, Medium, and Heavy armors as misc. skills.

@TonyMontana1638: I couldn't agree more! I look forward to talking with you some more as a friend! :)

I already posted my top ten favs in an earlier post. There was no way I could pick a single favorite! It was hard enough to narrow it down to ten! Anyway, you can check them out when you get the ...

If your magic is maxed then your hands start to glow blue. Maxing your spells doesn't do anything that I am aware of. Except become more powerful. In order to get the light blue glyph-type skin, you need to have full good alignment.

@Aegis: I've read some of your previous threads. You should realize and respect that other people are allowed an opinion that differs from your own. Just because their opinion doesn't match yours, does not mean it's wrong. Hill-Shatar is correct. Diablo II was marketed as an 'action-RPG.' In a sense ...

For those of us who have grown up worshiping RPG's, narrowing it down to one favorite is incredibly difficult, if not impossible! There are many different styles of RPG's, and there is no way I could pick a single one.

If I had to pick, these are roughly my top 10:

I. Final Fantasy VII
II. Final ...

@Gobatcha: That's true, all these titles are MMO's. Neverwinter can be played offline, and has a pretty good storyline. If you played and enjoyed the Baldurs Gate games, you'll love Neverwinter Nights. Sacred is a good single player, Diablo-style RPG. Star Wars: KOTOR is a D&D type game that is very ...

It's wierd that no one has answered you question. Well, seeing as you posted this a while ago, you might already have your answer.

I have made every sort of char imaginable in Morrowind. However, I ALWAYS make a 'custom' class. I have never, not once, made a char with any of the default classes! This way I can plan out my char from the very beginning, using only the best skills.

I have never made a char that was inept at their ...

But ya, when i made my ranger-type char, he had a lot less scars.

I thought Physical Shield was an awesome skill, if not ...
