Thank you, but unfortunatly he seems to be done speaking with me (I guess I insulted him, when I told him I intended to gather evidence).

I am about to enter the fortress of regrets, from which I do not expect to return anytime soon, so Trist must remain a slave for the time being.

Not sure about the portal. As I recall you had to select "use" (right-click in the inventory-screen).

As for entering the seige tower, you have to speak with Lazlo in the open market before you can enter.

Trist quest - cannot finish it.

Hi

I am having a problem completing the Trist quest (the one in the lower ward involving Lenny, Byron Pikit and of course Trist). I have gotten Lenny to give me the passwords "I'm here for a loan" and "I gave Pikit the laugh". The problem is, that the dialog never shows. All I can do is to claim ...

If your cdrom drive is anyway near as noisy as mine(think small jet engine), you might want the no-cd patch.

Cha is used for rebuke/destroy undead. So it is pretty much up to how you wish to play him.

High cha makes for some ungodly saving throws. But take into account that a paladin need to have good ...

Fighter/mage = dead monk.

Try searching on the subject. Monks are fun to play, but they are not an uberclass.

When you have two rods of resurrection, pain doesn't really matter much... If I was to replay BG2/TOB I doubt I would include a cleric in the party... Blame the rod :)

The only downside is that you cannot steal in ...

Don't dualwield with a f/m! This may sound strange, but there is one item in the game that beats any dualwielding combo.

The Staff of the magi - wear this with a cloak of nondetection (both are available in chapter 2) and you are pretty near invincible!

Torbjoern Egeskjold - nice viking name and just right for a dwarven beserker :) The prefix "Tor" is the name of the norse god Tor (*no* h in Tor, thanks) and the postfix "bjoern" means bear. "Egeskjold" mean oak shield.
