spells vs spell-like abilities

ok, here's my problem.

mate of mine took a prestige class that had prerequisite: "must have the ability to cast summon monster 4"

he entered this class using a feat that gives him summon monster as a spell-like ability

I claim this is a illegal build on the acount of semantics because you have to ...

Magic Weapon Tattoo

Hey guys, I need some really hard core gamer help.

The thing is, I remember somewhere reading about magic weapons that can be "stored" upon a person that wields them (it could be from some 3rd ed book).

Now the thing I do not remember is how it is achieved. Is it ability you enchant on a magic ...

BG was pretty difficult first time I've played it, but managed it.
There's nothing better then defeating Sarevok, and watching the final scene (you know the one when the heroes leave the cemetery and you see dawn; and then you look out your window, and there's also dawn :D )

P:T was too easy for me ...

nah, HOF goblins die faster - when you stab them with the dagger of goblin slaying :D

There's still a lot of bugs/mistypes to fix

some great swords have 1d10 instead 2d6 for damage
that red armor has half of it's statistics missing
elemental resistance is given in percentages - WTF?
couple of weapons are overpowered and/or underpriced
that dwarf ice-hammer can also be used by elves ...

Or even better, start the character with monk.
Not only do you get more skills at the beginning, but there is also one very specific monk bug.

When you create 1st level monk and get to the FEAT assignation table, invest one feat in something (anything), and then take it back: you'll get one more ...

Well, for FTR4/PALX you'd rather want Aasimar because if you take Drow, you will get 20% multiclass penalty (which means that your character will get 20% less exp points)

drows are great for Wizard multiclassing (for males) or Cleric multiclassing (for females)

Yeah, d&d 3.0 (and 3.5) have different rules about averting critical hits, cause what's the point in having keen weapon (and/or improved critical feat; doesn't stack in 3.5ed) if it can be averted by a simple helmet.

There is some equipment that averts criticals, but it's insanely expensive (in the ...

No, they're not lost.

when you level-up, you must spend all, but one skill point, and that skill point will be transferred to next level-up

so, if you level up a fighter and get three skill points, you must spend at least two of them (because the game does not allow you to transfer more than one ...

that's common knowledge.
you have those tables in manuals, but:

5000XP for LA2 (drow)
9000XP for LA3 (deep gnome)
