Shadowmage
Not really what I'm looking for. Neither is claw or talon.

To clear things up, I only use magic to turn invisible, soul trap, and to buff/Heal myself. It's less of a mage thing and more of a warrior/sneak, deal. The magic is just for support although it does play ...

So it's changed from Morrowind...

By the way, what is the greatest soul for enchanting?

Enchantment

Is any armor superior to other armor for enchanting? I remember in Morrowind, Daedric Armor had more enchantment points than glass did. I'm wondering if the same rule applies.
I can't think of anything at the top of my head but when I do I'll tell you.
I would greatly appreciate it.

Right now however I'm leaning more towards Spellblade or Spell Edge, or something like that.

Thanks everyone for contributing.

Nameless Class

I am going to restart my game (for many reasons) using the same build I made before with some changes, but I just cannot think of a name to give to my new class. I'll greatly appreciate anything you can come up with.

Here's some info onto my character:
Race: Redguard
Sign: The Atronach
Morality ...

So then the only way to get a skill permanently above 100 is by quest rewards right?

About Books...

Can you use books to raise a skill above the limit (f.e. read a book to get a skill above 100?)

I don't think there was a cap in Morrowind. Last time I checked I was 1056.

According to gamefaqs, on the PC version you can put this into the console:
player.setlevel 1
Changes player level to desired number. Use 1-255.

However I'm playing on the 360, and even if I was playing it on the PC, I wouldn't do it anyway.

I don't know if you can get that high in level,
Yep. The max is 255.

P.S. What makes you ask?
Just wondering if there is another way besides going to jail. The only way to lower your skills at a decent pace is to kill a lot of townspeople, etc. but that gains you infamy and let's just say I don ...

Heh.

Alright I'll correct myself:

Does anyone know if there is a way to get to level 255 wihout having to go to jail, prison, or being thrown in a dungeon?

It's really good for high elfs, since it sort of makes up for their weakness to magicka. As I said before, enchant your armor to get 100% and their weaknesses don't matter anymore. It's also the perfect sign for making enemy mages useless.

Well at max level, both armors are weightless and the same rating so it's basically a matter of which one you think looks better.

By the way, if I have an armor rating of 85, and I use Dragon Skin (as a breton), will that further my armor rating?

I'm pretty sure that glass is the best with a 75 armor rating (provided you are a Master with it.)

Go invisible, sneak, deal critical damage, repeat.
It actually works quite well.

And since I'm a Redguard who raised my endurance ASAP, my health is at the highest it could be, so once I run out of magicka, I just go head on against the enemy and use Adrenlaline Rush if necessary. Also being under ...

Atronach is not a sign for beginners, that's for sure.

In the beginning of the game, the Atronach is one of the more difficult signs to play with, mainly because most enemies are all bandits or mudcrabs, no spellcasters, and in the beginning, magicka is important to heal your wounds. With the ...
