The patch (1.20) fixes it. Apparently if you don't enter into the arena quickly enough on the old patch (1.15)then the Telkine is invincible and can not be brought down no matter how much damage you inflict.

There are two caves in the dark forest. One near the start and the other near the finish. The jade figurine can be in either cave. Try to find the other cave and explore it until you find the chest containing the figurine.

After killing Typhon, is there any way to stop the end dialogue with Zeus's words appearing. It's hard to spot teh stash after you burst Typhon's bublle of goodies.

Kill the fire demons as soon as they appear. They leech life back to the telkine.

I think that for a melee character the manticore is the most difficult boss to dispatch. Do you always get rebirthed at the last fountain that you activate? I have a character that finished legendary and i went back to do a few quests that i missed, thus triggering a fountain that i had missed on my first run through. Drops are difficult to figure out in this game. It's not like Diablo where you can boost your magic find and start to get the gold items. Here I think it is a question of level. I did not get any legendary (violet) items until I killed the big yeti in act 3, epic level. my character was level 42 at ...

Manticore was by far the hardest IMHO. That beast that is at the end of the temple below the gardens of babylon is also difficult for melee characters. My slayer kept on getting killed almost immediately by it.

i have found loads of violet (legendary) stuff by doing typhoon runs on epic difficulty. my character for running is a level 53 soothsayer and there are usually 1-2 violet items for every 3 runs that i do. many of the items repeat. for example i have found 4 shields of korybantes and 3 rings of gaia ...

I found the other uber beasts in epic and legendary but have not found Talos in Knossos-unless he is he is the super robot that lurks right outside the entrance to the labyrinthe
