Ok BannerDog this is a tricky quest,especially since as you mentioned your lore skill is not high enough as it is needed to identify the mening of the spells in the book.

In the book each spell does the exact opposite of what it is meant to do i.e

Loyalty Spell==Confusion :confused: and so on and ...

There is an advantage to building a neverwinter nine tower in the keep.When i was playing as a fighter/weapon master and built the NW9 tower an option in the dialog showed up where my character asked Nevalle,

"Can you teach me anything?".

And after quick blank screen i got the message that ...

The quest from Ivarr is called "Path of the Holy" for a reason! ;)
You only get it if you are a Cleric or a Paladin...

Thank you for telling me about the Ivarr quest, but when i did that he just told me a story about him and his brother and no mention about a quest.can someone explain why this is happening or maybe i'm just talking to him at the wrong time :confused: ?
