i agree with one point, when playing solo - u already know the game. you such an experience so u'll know which tactics to use, which artifacts u need etc.
i finished the game yesterday for the first time and still can't say
that i did all the game has to offer...

i never thought of it.
thought that the game was planned for six players.
but that explains one thing... in my last game i played
a sorcerer and i thought that in the end i will make use of those
high level spells. well, i didn't. there was no need because level 5-6 spells + 3 fighters well equipped ...

i still don't understand how i can finish the game with only
one player.
seems impossible.
how can you defeat four golems with a cleric?

can i finish the game with only 5 players?!

i would like to start a new game with a new group and as always, the possibilities are limitless.

i got my three warriors protected from confusion (by chaotic commands spells) plus the brine potion which supposed to protect me from psionic blast. i don't know why, but for ...

ok, well, i'm stuck.
i've opened the locked door using that illithid, but when i pass
the corridor on the left, i encounter more and more.
it seems like there's thousands of them.
they cast domination and confusion spells at me, and it too much for me.

what can i do?

ok, so here's i did it through the beholder dungeon.
i've protected all my party with chaotic commands, and casted on
myself (sorceror) minor spell turning. i left my party in a strategic
point and that walked and casted death fog and fireball.
from that point it's very easy. the death fog slowly ...

first of all, i would like to know something about confusion.
is there any way i can protect my warrior from confusion & domination spells? and if he's already confused (or dominated)
is there any way to remove it? (i know that dispel magic doesn't work in that case).

i'm doing a quest in which cleric from the Athalander (sorry for the misspelling) asked me to retrieve the dawn ring who was stolen by thief named Tarvin. he also said that i can find him in the slums during night. the problem is that i didn't find him.
