I hope they don't wait more than a year to release a PC version. The optomist in me is hoping that Microsoft has learned something from the release of Vista, the pay to play PC games online programs(I forget the name), and Halo 2 PC.

Waiting until sales die down on the platform of choice before ...

Dugeon Seige II does have some good interaction between party members. Overall the game is a step up from the original Dungeon Seige with the same action RPG gameplay.

Another good game with decent party interaction is Placescape: Torment. All of the NPCs have a very well defined history and ...

It shouldn't matter where you downloaded it. The problem you are having is more likely the CD, drive, or file. I assume you are not having any trouble with other CDs.

Try this. Copy the file off of the CD and onto your hard drive and try running it from there. The problem you are having sound alot ...

Lockpicking is the only one I ever had much use for. It made life a lot easier when trying to get to place I wasn't supposed to be.

I do know that pickpocking can be used to place things..... (hint: boom)

It seems to me stealth can be a great help in hand to hand combat if you have the option to ...

These are my answers to your questions.

1. Not that I know of. There are a few ways to deal with TTO but the final is always the same.

2. If your going to replay the game again so soon after finishing it I suggest two things. First, forcus on a new class. Second, play a different way. If you were ...

Most of the honor gained in PvP comes from kills and honor kills(I think this is the right term). Kills are straight forward, you have to land the killing blow. Honor kills are an assist. Help in killing an enemy player and you'll get one. The odd thing about these is that you don't have to be ...

I recommend the druid and the bard.

The druid is one of my favorites. Their area effect hold and damage spells have been the key to some of the harder fights in both Icewind Dale and Icewind Dale 2 for me. A second character with healing ability helps too.

In playing Icewind Dale I have found that ...

It could be your CPU. As I understand it, Baldur's Gate 1 & 2, Icewind Dale 1 & 2, and Planescape: Torment all use the same engine. Some older games don't like duel core CPU's. I know from experience that Planescape: Torment is one of them. Chances are the others don't play any better.

Try this:

A druid is the number one must for me in Icewind Dale. There are so many battles in this game that my druid is the sole reason it went so well. Having the added healing helps too.

The mage comes second. They have their own area effect hold spells and area effect damage spells that compliment the ...

Try the standard stuff first.

1. Patches
2. uninstall/reinstall - Its a drag but sometimes it does the trick.
3. Have a look at the Baldur's Gate forum over at the Bioware website.

Not being able to finish that up is a bummer but its not all bad either. Sulik is one of the better team members to have and beating the crap out of Metzger is one the better fights in the game.

You can forget about any connections to Fallout and Fallout 2's story line. All info I've points to Fallout 3 being set on the East Coast.

Things I'd ...

This is one thing which makes me not want to play games. When it gets to decide when I should save the game or not. Forcing me to play through crummy parts just because a "save point" isn't reached yet.

I don't want to see another "save the ________" type story line. I want a story where no cities will burn or worlds end if you fail. In Fallout you had to save the vault and in Fallout 2 it was to save the villagers. That is enough of that.

Part of the reason why I liked Planescape: Torment so ...
