Can't say I was too disappointed in Blizzard but...

When I bought the game it took awfully long to install. And when I finally got everything in order and launched the game it started downloading patches. The first patch was 590 MB in size. So I practically lost a day of gameplay because the patch ...

HELP! Getting "thrown out"

I'm having difficulties with WOW. This night the game suddenly freezes and then I got back to the starting screen with a report : "disconnected from the server". This happened more than once. Has anyone experienced the same? Is this a bug or what? How to fix it?

Spoiler Alert!!!!

I'm also not into necromance but you could wear necromancer robes and hood taken from a dead necromancer. Also, Conjuration school is mainly for necromancy as it can summon undead (and daedra). Black Soul gems can also be created at altars. One such altar is in Dark Fissure ...

The funniest thing you got thrown into jail!(SPOILERS!!!)

Hey Valonia and other pro-law as myself (I'm also pro-Light so no demons for me:angel: ).

I also hate being thrown into jail or doing anything illegal. One thing I hate about this game is the AI of the NPCs. They could just run into you when you cast that powerful spell or sneak-attack with a bow ...

In my game I had be able to cast the spell with the desired effect before it would work for enchanting.

I do remember this being the case for fortify magicka.

I agree with Cyrinn. I have a night-eye spell but I can't use it enchantment or spell creation as my Illusion skill is too low. So you ...

I haven't tried this (yet) but it may be possible to cast damage <skill> onto yourself (so damage, not drain). The damage in skills should be permanent(?) if you don't restore it so they could be gained again by training, therefore allowing you to level more.

As i told, I haven't tried this yet so ...

Possible solution (contains spoilers of the expansion)

Hey!

Try visiting all the wayshrines. That SHOULD give you the gods' forgiveness (allowing you to receive blessings from wayshrines) and it should erase your infamy. Worked for me. Do you have the Knights of the Nine expansion? If you don't ...

Dagon Shrine special reward (spoilers)

Hi!

Anyone ever managed to get that Argonian out of the Dagon Shrine alive? I did it yesterday. I was at level 11 and had already done Knights of the Nine quest so I had the Touch of Mercy (or what ever that healing lesser power was.) So, I chose not to give away my equipment and the door guard and ...

I DEFEATED HIM!!!

Last Tue I finally won Cerberus. This was my tactic: I bought a nice melee weapon (Akinakes of Ice) and upgraded it with the dark medicine upgrade. When I engaged him I cast a Lightning Bolt on him and then ran back to the door. He followed me and cast his poison grenade. I ...

Yes, tha Far Plains, I can confirm that. And it's the cave in the north. It's easy to find. From the entrance take a left turn and head that way until you see a way to the north. Your mini-map should alert when you approach the cave (a POI icon will appear).

And the boss holding it isn't that ...

The guardian of Hades (spoilers)

Any hints on defeating Cerebus (or was that his name?) My lvl 39 Paladin won't survive too long against him. My Poison resistance is 55%. Is there any place to flee? What strategies you used? Ranged? Melee? Scrolls?

I'm playing on Normal difficulty.

Yes you do.

As far as I know any kills by your pet/familiar will gain you xp. however, kills by NPC soldiers do not grant XP so watch out how close to them you fight. They can aid you but unless you inflict the killing blow you get no xp.

So pets yes, NPCs no.

The progress of difficulty (possible spoilers)

What do you guys think about the developing of difficulty during the game? I've only played on normal so far (as I bought the expansion) and I was a bit disappointed that it became increasingly difficult after Egypt. I found Egypt kind of easy but as soon as I entered Babylon my character started ...

Favorite piece of equipment

Do you have any favorite pieces of equipment that you'd like every character to have? I don't mean those hard-to-find epic or legendary equipment but rather rare or magical ones. My favorite is the Prismatic Charm (or other Prismatic Equipment). Gives the best boost as it gives higher Elemental ...

Hey!

He's a nasty beast. The statues around him grant him powerful extra attacks. I'll say try ranged attacks instead of melee. What type of character you're playing? I played a Paladin (Storm/Defense) and I sniped him with my bow (had a ravenous hunter's bow at that time giving also some cold ...

My worst build was the Juggernaut. He was a tough Melee character until I faced Typhon. Okay, I had major difficulties in all of Orient. I had invested too many points on ring of Flame and Soften metal and my energy would drain out. I think I should have spent points on Earth Enchantment instead ...

Yeah, Heart of Frost and Static Charge add more damage to any lightning/cold based damage you inflict on storm nimbus.. Plus, you get a nice retaliation :)
As Storm Nimbus deals either cold or lightning damage it's logical to invest points in both of them. And he's a one-man army after that!

I was a coward...

I defeated Typhon with my lvl 33 Paladin shooting him from the stairs and then backing off... I did die a few times, though. The life-draining attack and lightning attacks are damaging, watch out for them. I kept moving much so I didn't get caught in the fire except for once or ...

I'd say try a Paladin. With his Storm Nimbus built all the way up to the maximum he's a one-man army. At least in normal... All the way up to Babylon I could kill almost any normal foe with an arrow or two.

But try any classes and find one to suit your style. Spirit mastery is cool not only because ...

Paladins

Hey!

I've tried several classes and of my combinations Paladin was strongest. First I built a Juggernaut (earth/defense) and I couldn't get a single blow on Typhon before he died. Next I tried Oracle but I didn't play it up to Typhon. My 3rd character was a Paladin and it's my favorite ...
