All the nests are out in the forest almost around the same swampy/fogy area where you found the one you destroyed. No nests inside caves.

It's from where you came into the city with Roche and Triss, near the town port.

I have recently searched the web about this subject and found something, but it's a bit of a spoil for The Witcher 2 (game):

( I heard someone (in TW2) says "pantha rei", and that's (wrongly; I have stuidied Heraclitus, long story) attributed to Heraclitus. )

This maybe answers my original ...

Sorry I got a little confused there, with Order of the Flaming Rose and the Cult of the Eternal Fire...they are supposed to be close aren't they, like the Catholic Church and the Knights Templar? (before all the unpleasantries)

Anyway, I think that the works of Heraclitus have only reached us in ...

Go to "My Documents" where your save files form most of your games will be stored. Normally you would be able to delete the files from there.

I don't see any connection between the Order and Heraclitus. I think that the order draws all it's symbolisms from the medieval Templar and Knightly orders and medieval/european folklore. In fact fire was the symbol of purity and clenasing, and the rose the mark of the Seventh Son of the Senventh ...

On my first playthrough I sided with Roche. I liked his military-special forces setting and then there was Ves too! I just couldn't bring my self to betray him when he was charging the Squirels on the elven garden. I felt then that there was a bond of honour between Geralt and him. Plus Iorveth was ...

*spoilers* Hangmans Tree in the Swamp (is there a secret?)

So, during my second playthrough I noticed that if you go to Big scary swamp to the south east of the map (were the locked bandit hut is) exactly during midnight, and stand by the tree with the hanged elves, a night wraith with a random female name will appear and attack you. Every night the wraith ...

If you can't defeat him with good old fashion swordplay ( Quen, one or two strong hits and evade, since he can't maneuvre as fast as you) There is cheap way to do it. quen and grapeshot bomb spam....It works better in the end.

Have you tried the "disable difficult quicktime events" option in the "Options" menu?
I was stuck for a time right after the part when the quick time event ends and the Kayran throws Geralt down and starts launching rocks at him. If you are stuck there, right after the QTE, the trick is to use the ...

I don't really want a game to be too hard, like - for example - Ninja Gaiden.
But Dragon Age 2 is just like Assassins Creed 2, where you could annihilate entire armies of guards by mashing one mouse button and dodging every now and then. I dont find that entertaining. Both games have their moments ...

Problem (?) with lair of the shadow-broker dlc

Ok...so I installed mass effect 2, then downloaded the dlc's and installed them (includind the lair of the shadow broker). Then I played the game and got to the point where you are getting to the Normandy. I went to the private terminal and I got messages regarding all the DLC's except the lair of ...

Awakening, Silverite Mine major Bug, Spoilers

I would like to share my recent experience with this bug and the way to solve it.

I apologize if this matter has been addressed in this forum, but I was not able to find a thread about it here.

Note that I started playing "Awakening" right after I finished all the DLC's including the Witch Hunt ...

I've played the Secrets of Amgarrak, the story is fun, ( kind of a horror/mystery involving a team of dwarves lost in an ancient thaig while trying to uncover knowledge about golem manufacturing)
It has a fun puzzle/maze sequence and REALLY challenging battles if you play the game on hard/nightmare ...

I finished the game unpatched in the normal difficulty setting. I found that it was a "healthy challenge" and that now I am ready to try another playthrough in the hard difficulty. I think that you should avoid playing the game on "easy" or in the mild- patched form of "normal" because then the ...
