Actually, the Renfield quest and following Harper dirty work quest are hard to avoid. In my experience, the second time you're waylaid between city zones or the first time you head for the D'Arnise hold, bang, there it is.

Does adding ToB automatically remove the XP cap even in SoA? I've always hated the very idea of an XP cap and even lifted it in BG1 though I haven't done so in SoA. I did buy/install ToB, so maybe I don't need an XP cap remover????

My PC is an over-muscled Archer (ranger subclass)with an Elven Court Bow +3 and 100%+ stealth capability (hide in shadows 120+). He hits hard enough with the Flail of Ages and never misses with a bow but his armor limitation relegates his role to third hitter.
