Solo Thief

Well a couple of days ago I just started to play Baldur's Gate again. I decided to take my first shot at solo'ing the whole series. I Have played this game many times with many different classes and now I'm going back to my favorite class the Thief. I got to character creation, and ...

After finishing the entire series as a Conjurer then as a Druid(Avenger in BGII) I've decided to make my way through with a Thief, but what's a fun kit to use. What are the PROs and CONs of the Swashbuckler, Assassin, and Bountyhunter?

In my current BG1 game my PC is a Mage. I don't have ToB at the moment but I plan on buying it really soon. So I got some questions about a Wild Mage.

1. After I complete BG1 with my mage, can I make him a Wild Mage once I import to BG2 SoA/ToB?

2. Can someone describe the Wild Mage to me.

I heard that an Assassin must be of Chaotic Neutral or any Evil alignment, but let's say you have a Lawful Neutral Thief from Bg1 that you import into Bg2. When they give you the option to become a kit, can you pick Assassin?

For weapon use your fist, and I know there's the gauntlets that give you something like +4 THAC0 when attacking with fist(forgot what it's called and I also forgot where it is, maybe someone remembers)

Well I'm thinking of taking a shot with my PC as a Druid. Can anyone go through the PROs and CONs of a Druid and it's different kits. What do you guys think is the best Druid.

As of now I'm leaning towards a Totemic Druid, but it could always change.

Do druids lose the ability to cast some cleric spells?If so which spells can't they cast?

High Charisma Does Matter!

I'm not sure if someone else mentioned this or maybe none of you know this. There are times in the game where it will take your PC's BASE(YES BASE) Charisma to determine certain outcomes. One example that pops into my mind is, to prevent other NPCs from fighting each ...

The best stats I had with a PC was my first time playing the game(Back in 99) It was with an Elven Enchanter

How those stats came up on a natural roll for a mage? I don't know, but I never made a better mage. Then with the tomes:

DEX:20
CON:17
INT ...

The High Level Thief Ability Use Any Item, as of yet I don't have ToB but was wondering...When a thief(or it's kit) use this ability to equip an armor they normally can't wear, will they no longer be able to use their thieving skills.

I'm thinking of trying these two out, as I never have used any of them. Of course IF I use these it will change my team lineup(If you read my other topic you know what it is). So just wondering what are the best ways to use these two. AND is Haer'Dalis capable of being a backup-mage?
