I have always felt a bit guilty for not having played BG and planned to do so earlier this year. Just before I bought it on GOG the new Jagged Alliance had shipped in february and I didnt start BG yet again. Then I randomly found Trent Oster on twitter and decided to wait for BGEE.
As I am untouched ...

Inquisitor is now English beta! Great news Id say, looking forward to comparing the original and english version...and also finally beating the game. The original was played by only a small group of players here, hopefully english version will draw larger audience and revive the game a bit ...

Id recommend Inquisitor which is somewhat unique game that folks shouldnt miss.
The English version is being worked on atm. The game has always had delay issues as it had been developed by a team of non-professionals so patience is advised .)

IWD 1st timer

Hi dudes,
choosing from several games I picked IWD, got the 2004 complete edition with HoW and started to play. Here are some observations...you might have read here before I am sure :)

I have never played a game based on D&D rules before so - lead by common sense I hope - I ended up with these ...

I think maybe, if you host a tcp/ip (shows your singleplayer chars) game and can run 2 game windows you can log in with both characters. But it will require a cracked exefile because the game can't run more than once on a computer, and you also need 2 cdkeys...

It works just fine in Vista. You ...

Hi, I started playing d2 over again after some time (7 years or so and I forgot almost all about d2lod) and have a question about barbarian. Dont mind if I use this thread?

1. Is it worth for barb to take up SPEAR mastery? I mean are there enough solid weapons of this sort to be found in the game ...

I run NWN2 on vista x86, e6600, 2GB RAM, hd3850 1280*1024, all settings the highest and game runs smoothly. At least in single-player.

I have tried Call of Duty 4.
And it turned out to be total **** unfortunately. Never have played such a stupid, scripted game.

Is it the same with BLEED and ranged characters?
Does this skill work for both cross/bow and thrown? I mean this skill seems to be for thrown weapons only...
Thanks .)

To BW or not all again

Nice topic .)
I have the same question but it concerns rather characters than items.
I have a 5 member party (tank, deru, taar, vix, amren) in the middle of elite in DS2 at the moment and have just also installed BW on my second pc to give it a try. Mostly to see who could complete my party the best ...

Grasping vines seems really really useful.)

I have just battled thru Zaramoth's Horns to the last portal and met 5 of 6 Ganths and had to kill them in that chicken way I described above. I would have appreciated someone with this spell a lot.

As I am about to go elite I am thinking about a new ...

On mercenary level Ganth died quite soon without me running anywhere.
Now on veteran level I had (as usual) to let my combat-mage die and the rest of my party (tank + thrown now with a low bow + 2 ranged)took Ganth for a walk.

Of course I used to play Diablo and Diablo 2 very much and found the skill tree simple and clear. Quite unlike the one in the DS2...

Hi, I have a sort of problem. Not a real annoying one but would like to know your opinion .)
