Just my oppinion, but what about a prequel?
Like something to do with Gorion's adventures with his former party during the time of troubles. Not sure how it would start, or where, but it would involve the Harpers, mayhaps even Jaheira and Khalid? Who knows, Gorion could have clairvoyent dreams about ...

If you want the Mage bonuses for getting to level 7 and 12, don't go beyond level six as a fighter, as you wouldn't get both mage bonuses. When you get to level seven as a mage, I think you can, I'm not sure, but if not wait till you get to level twelve.

Platter, my theory could also support that, in fact it's the same if he was evil.
If he was evil (probably was, haven't played in a while) it would give him more reason to try to make up for what he did as he wants to save himself from eternal damnation in the Blood War, so he would have no qualms ...

Does anyone have any tips for playing an Avenger? i.e. Spell sellection and use?

Well, i've decide to play the game again using the Avenger Druid.
I'm wondering about what equipment I'll use, as well as who to take in my party.
So far I think my party will look like this:

Minsc
Valygar
Nalia
Yoshimo/Imoen
My guy

Any suggestions for the party and equipment would be great.

I'm not sure, but I think someone is trying to talk to you. It's probably Domo. That could stop you from resting.
If it is him, just wait around him, making sure nothing is stopping him.
He might also be waiting for a script to kick in, like an NPC entering the area.

I'm thinking of buying Icewind Dale, but I need to know how much it is in Australia, with the expansion.

I've also been thinking about what party to use when I get it.
So far I think I'll take:
A Human Palidan
An elven Ranger (archer)
A Fighter, Human or Dwarven
A Fighter-Cleric ...

Aparrantly romances are put on "pause" in certain chapters, I think it happens in Chapter 3. I can't remember the other chapters it happens in.
Don't worry, your romance will continue (maybe in chapter 4?)

Actually, full install puts ALL areas into your cache, not in a separate file. This means that the game doesn't have to cache areas as you come across them. If you want to check this, do a full install, then before playing, check the cache file. Everything should be in there.
