Just meant to point out that even with limitations on what can be applied (Due to limited gold), ranged can be just as good as melee. - The one problem is that unless you use a type of ammunition that has the descriptor for being both piercing and slashing, ranged (bows and crossbows) are only ...

My two-weapon-fighting ranger for LG has the feat oversized twf and so weilds 2 (masterwork) cold iron longswords which, can be lethal. When the need arises he uses a swift action to activate the spell "Blades of Fire" and for that round both longswords do an additional 1d8 points of fire damage ...

Being that I play Living Greyhawk... this whole 4.0 thing is somewhat aggrivating. (Just started playing about a year ago.)
Since the rules incompatability is an issue, it is ending LG at the end of 2008. (Though it is supposed to be ended before that in actuality.)

We're informed that it will be ...

Last time I played... 11 spikes... Starforge Robes.

If don't already know, you can get 3 of them.

Just have to use all 3 terminals before taking anything you have constructed.

Indeed it does. It is also the one lower level spell that remains fully useful throught the game. (It is my ranged weapon of choice.)

So far, my favorite nether spell is the summon Deathlord.

They are quite powerful and tend to stick around for some time.
(Mostly, I use them as distractions to continue my trek to my destination without wasting precious time in battle.)

Think of them as "meat shields" for purposes of keeping to D ...

I play the CE version and it did, in fact, "lock-up" a couple of times. (Though I suspect that has something to do with me casting spell after spell. - Not giving the game a chance to catch up with my casting.)

Freezes every so often while travelling (running) through the expanses betweeen goals ...

It is a staff. Has 3 charges of lightning and utilizes "rune strike" as the standard hit.

You have to be careful that you don't have too powerful an ability that you can kill the Shadow Lord outright or you won't get to the staff.
(I made that mistake my first time facing off against it. - On the ...

Don't feel bad, I've a 512MB video card and I think it is insufficient for what I want.

(Just haven't seen any other video cards. - Read about one costing over 17 grand, but that is way way too much for a graphics card.)

Hehehe...

I got around doing that.
I actually managed to get to the peak of the mountainous terrain getting to the interrior of the city near the Wizard's shop. I activated the bridge, teleported out and back in to fix the graphics of the city.

The editor would have to be on her pc as well.

A thought here...
If both of your charcters are on the same computer, just copy the save game from the one and paste it in the same location on the other computer.

If you can afford it, mix one Deathlord and sell it. You can then buy the spell in mass quantities.
