I almost always play light. Getting daedric is annoying and sometimes goes against the RP experience. Only real reason I see for going heavy is to get the enchant points for cooler enchantments. Armor rating difference between best light and best heavy is not proportional to how much easier it is to ...

Your statement about uberness is totally true. However, I just started this thread so that people could show off their actual characters NOT just their character's stats/ items/ etc. A thread for people who put more thought into their character than how to simply get through the game quickly and ...

So here goes:

Isillur Thorne: the Making of a Bard
Race: breton
Class: bard

Isillur's parents were both adventurers. His mother was a mighty sorceress and his father a fearsome warrior. The pair met during their travels and adventuring and spent just long enough together for little Isillur to ...

So who's your character really? (PC bios)

I've noticed tons of threads about posting your uber character build and your unstoppable exploit-ridden toon, but I think its time we started one for the roleplayers out there. This thread is intended to be a place where you can give a brief (or not so brief) history of your character, and share ...

Mages= TOTALLY viable

If mages were truly capable of working on their own in Morrowind, I'd probably try one, but since they can't, I usually run a fighter/mage.

A pure mage is insanely viable in Morrowind. Breton/ apprentice combo is awesome. As is Altmer/Atronach.

Biggest problem is magicka ...

Every now and then you just need to let loose, right? I mean maybe I'm just a closet psycho, but I often think about killing everyone around me in a fit of rage at their stupidity... It just seems so... RIGHTEOUS!

Actual Effects of Specialization?

I have searched and experimented and cannot for the life of me figure out what your chosen specialization actually does. (i.e. combat, magic, stealth)

Anyone know this information or where I can find it?

Use alchemy exploit to get int to around 2000-4000. Only way to reliably succeed on complex enchantments. Enchanting skill matter for about zilch. All that maters really is ur int. Only reason to take enchanting as a maj/min skill or lvl it up at all is to get faster regen on ur items

Best Weapons, pick your poison

For my Bard I generally alternate between:

Ebony Scimitar of Slaying
Damage: 1-40 somthing
Cast on Strike: weakness to magicka 100% for 2 secs
damage health 100
- A one shot kill for just about anything, regardless of resistances

Ebony Scimitar of Fear
Damage ...
