If you are more into PnP and like indulged in the ability to save and reload ToEE is the best game ever (so far). Graphically it both parallels and surpasses BG2, no repetative backgrounds, a fully detailed town to roam, and elabourate dungeons to explore. In terms of game play it cuts through all ...

Patch?

Rather than scrolling through a bunch of crap, I'll just ask if anyone knows the exact (or roughly) date the patch is suppose to be released? Sometime later this week or what? Stupid teaser patch notes *grumble*

The best strategy I found with the node fiends is to cast stoneskin on your tanks before the fight and cast cloudkill on the demon (obviously compensating for you PC's positioning) every round until you run out, 3 to 4 rounds later they die, try to kill the elemental creatures with them ASAP becuase ...

Least liked (becuase they're useless) would have to be Jahiera, Faldorn, Quayle, Yeslick, Alora, and Tiax... with the exception of Montaron and Coran for their superb stats suitable for both, all of the multi-class NPCs are crap, not to mention annoying and ugly :)

The NPCs I can tolerate, and can ...

Most of the characters appear as though they are constantly bent at the knees, I can just picture them swinging their readied upper bodies all the way back and forth as they walk or doing low lunges. Spell effects however look pretty cool, as do the backgrounds... and as we know STORY (plot, writing ...

Nevermind

Well that turned out to be fruitless, to complete this quest for the Great Book of Unknowing, all you have to do is talk to her again saying that you have indeed searched thoroughly and NOT found it, which ofcourse turns out you have... walking in the mists in BG is much like walking in ...

Inside the Blade and Star there is a woman (Shaella) if to who you respond correctly she will ask, that when you return to Candlekeep, if you can look for a book called the Tome of Unknowing and bring it back to her... since you actually make a journal entry about the ...

The only kit I've ever been a fan of has been the Cavalier, though to be a bit more true to the name you should be able to get high mastery "****" in polearms.

All I said is that I perfer the "notion" of having prestige classes. I realize the kits are a necessary fault of this being a video game, and to keep mindless gamers amused while they run through the game again and again.

You got to be f-ing kidding me... I not even going bother with this game if it's going to be point buy.

I perfer the notion of prestige classes to kits. Becoming an Assassin (for example) because you earned that right, and actually getting to "BE" what your kit is as opposed to a title.

That's just me though.

I like the whole ancient japan theme, though. You know what PC RPG I really liked and have yet to see something close... Revenant! Not exactly great in terms of story [though not bad either] and the end was a little disappointing, but I still had a lot of fun playing it with no real complaints ...
